SEOUL: The Lantern Festival and our last two days
- We were lucky to see the Seoul Lantern Festival when we returned from Jeju.
- The Cheonggyecheon Stream runs through the middle of the city.
- The stream is 5.2 miles long.
- More than half of it is filled with lighted lanterns for the annual festival.
- Some tell the stories of famous Koreans.
- Others are just arty.
- Love the fishes!

On our first date, we both shared stories of the places we’ve been and all the places we wanted to go. This shared love of travel was part of what brought us together and the impetus for this year-long travel sabbatical. We’re so excited to add more stamps to our passports!
